Visit the Altona Homestead Museum on Australia Day. Lots of local history books, post cards for sale.

• Win a free flight in a Tiger Moth for one, valued at $300 – entry forms available Altona and Altona North libraries.

• Dr Fay Woodhouse, author of the very successful Altona Yacht Club history, will be on site between 12noon and 3pm to discuss writing local history, copies available for purchase

• Williamstown Historical Society historical publications will be on sale all day

• Hundreds of rare post cards from the world's great museums and art galleries all $1 each

• Fire works in the evening

The Altona Homestead is the first homestead run built on Port Phillip Bay and will be open on Australia Day Wed 26th Jan 10am to 5pm, entry by gold coin donation.
